DraftA lawyer will review this before accounts go live, so some details may change. Company registration in progress. Full legal details will be published here once registration completes. Words in [brackets] are details we will confirm. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in plain words.
The short version
- CandleHall is a place to learn, practise, keep a trading journal and join communities. It is not a broker and never holds your trading money.
- We don’t give buy or sell calls, and nothing here is investment advice.
- You must be 18 or older, and you keep your login safe.
- Plans are monthly. Cancel any month in two taps. If you drop to Free, you keep your data.
- Journal sync is read-only. We can never place, change or close your trades.
- Some features depend on where you live, because we follow the rules where you live.
This summary helps you find your way. The full text below is what counts.
01Who we are
CandleHall (“CandleHall”, “we”, “us”) is run by CandleHall. Company registration in progress. Full legal details will be published here once registration completes.
These Terms of use (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and us when you use candlehall.com, the CandleHall app and any community Room hosted on it (together, “CandleHall”). By creating an account or using CandleHall, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy policy, our Refunds and cancellation policy and our Risk disclosure. If you run a community Room, you also agree to the Hall Rules and a separate owner agreement.
If you don’t agree, please don’t use CandleHall.
02Who can use CandleHall
You can use CandleHall if all of these are true:
- You are 18 or older. CandleHall is for adults only. We don’t knowingly allow anyone under 18, and we close accounts that we find belong to a minor.
- You can legally agree to these Terms where you live.
- You are not barred from services like ours by sanctions, a court or a regulator.
- You tell us your true country of residence, and you update it if you move.
One person, one account. You may not open an account for someone else or let someone else use yours.
03Your account and keeping it safe
- Use a strong password that you don’t use anywhere else, and turn on two-step login when we offer it.
- Keep your login private. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been misused.
- If you think someone else got in, message CandleHall Support on Telegram straight away. We can lock the account while we check.
- Keep your email address up to date. We use it for receipts, security alerts and important changes.
We will never ask for these
04What CandleHall is
CandleHall brings four things together under one login:
- Learn. Learn & Live: the Calm Doji course on forex and gold, crypto and indices, live Hall Talks and their replays. Stage A of the course is free; the full course is included in Pro and VIP.
- Practise. Free tools such as position size and pip calculators, a market hours clock, an economic calendar, and candle replay (practice on past price data, with no real money).
- Prove. A trading journal that fills itself from read-only connections or file uploads, with analytics and AI reviews of your own trades.
- Belong. Community Rooms, including Rooms run by independent traders who bring their communities to CandleHall.
Everything on CandleHall is for education and record keeping. Accounts are not open yet: the app at Your cabinet at /app holds your own data; the “Sample” previews on our public pages are illustrations.
05What CandleHall is not
Please read this part carefully. It matters before you trade.
- We are not a broker or an exchange. You can’t buy or sell anything on CandleHall.
- We never hold your trading money. We never ask you to deposit funds with us for trading, and we never hold crypto for you.
- We are not an investment adviser or research analyst. We are not registered with SEBI (India’s market regulator) or any other financial regulator, and we don’t claim to be.
- We don’t give buy or sell calls, tips, targets or signals, and we don’t tell you what to trade. Lessons use examples to show how markets work, not what to do next.
- We don’t manage anyone’s account or copy trades for anyone.
- We don’t recommend, partner with or take money from any broker. Broker referral and affiliate links are banned everywhere on CandleHall.
Nothing on CandleHall is an offer, a recommendation or a promise of any result. Please read our Risk disclosure.
06Plans and billing
CandleHall has three plans. You can pay monthly, or once a year at a lower monthly price.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 a month | $0 |
| Pro | $14.99 a month | $143.88 a year ($11.99 a month) |
| VIP | $34.99 a month | $335.88 a year ($27.99 a month) |
- Yearly plans. A yearly plan is paid once for 12 months at the lower price shown. It renews after 12 months only if you choose to renew; we remind you before it ends.
- Monthly renewal. Card plans renew on the same date each month until you cancel. We email a receipt every time. USDT plans don’t take money automatically: you pay each month yourself, and if you don’t, the plan moves to Free at the end of the month you paid for.
- Cancel any month in two taps. In Settings, open Plan, tap Cancel plan, then Confirm. No calls, no forms, no maze of “are you sure?” screens.
- You keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
- Dropping to Free keeps your data. Your journal, notes and history stay. Features above the Free limits pause, for example analytics show the last 90 days and extra syncs stop. Upgrade again and it all comes back.
- Price changes. We tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, so you can cancel first if you want.
When you can get money back is explained in our Refunds and cancellation policy.
07Payments and taxes
- Ways to pay. USDT on the TRC-20 (Tron), ERC-20 (Ethereum), Solana or BNB Chain (BEP-20) network. Card payments are coming soon, and UPI later. The methods you see can depend on where you live.
- Cards are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- USDT must be sent to the exact address and on the exact network shown at checkout. Crypto sent to the wrong address or on the wrong network may be lost for good, and we may not be able to get it back. Network fees are set by the blockchain, not by us, and the sender pays them.
- Prices include tax. Where we must charge tax (for example GST for people in India), the price at checkout already includes it. No surprise fees are added at the end.
- Rupee amounts on our site help you compare. The amount you pay is the one shown at checkout.
- Your own taxes on your trading, and any tax that applies to you when you pay in crypto, are your responsibility. In India, for example, moving crypto can count as a taxable transfer. Ask a tax adviser if you are unsure.
- Failed card payments. We try again a few times over 7 days and let you know. If it still fails, your plan moves to Free and your data stays.
08The Calm Doji course
Calm Doji is our trading course. Stage A is free for every member, and the full course is included in Pro and VIP while your plan is active.
- It is taught by the Calm Doji mentor, a brand character with no public name or face, shown as a stylised avatar. Our teaching team is behind the character. Any video or voice made with AI is labelled as AI-generated.
- The course is education only. The mentor never promises returns, never gives buy or sell calls and shows losing trades as well as winning ones.
- Buying the course gives you a personal licence to watch it yourself. You may not share your login, record, re-upload or resell lessons. Videos may carry a hidden mark linked to your account, which discourages leaks.
- The refund window is set out in our Refunds policy.
09Community Rooms and their owners
CandleHall hosts communities called Rooms. Some are run by us. Many are run by independent traders and educators (“owners”) from anywhere in the world, who bring their community, keep their own brand and members, and earn a published share of the Pro and VIP payments made by the members they bring: 10% to 20% of your members' Pro and VIP payments, growing as your paying members grow. 20% is the maximum, so the platform, AI and team costs stay covered. The full table is on the Partners page.
- Owners are independent. They are not our employees or agents. Each owner is responsible for their own content, teaching, prices and claims. We don’t check or endorse their trading results unless those results come from a verified, read-only synced account and are labelled that way.
- Every owner signs the Hall Rules and an owner agreement before their Room opens. That includes no profit promises, no buy or sell calls on Indian securities without SEBI registration, no broker links and no poaching of other Rooms’ members.
- Owners who charge money pass an identity check (KYC) with us. Their public name can be a brand, but we know who they are, and we show their business name and contact on their Room page where the law requires it.
- Room memberships are bought through CandleHall checkout, never by side payments. Each owner sets a monthly price and picks a refund option from our presets, which is shown to you before you pay.
- Rooms stay separate. Member lists are hidden, people can’t send direct messages across Rooms, and outside invite links are held by our link guard. Which Rooms you belong to is private unless you choose to show it.
- If an owner breaks the rules, we can remove content, hold payouts or close the Room. If a Room closes, members get a refund for unused paid time.
To report a problem in a Room, use the Report button or contact the Grievance Officer (see Contact).
10Acceptable use
Everyone on CandleHall follows the Hall Rules and the Member Code shown when you join a Room: be respectful, no selling in messages, no fake results, and report instead of hitting back. You must not use CandleHall to:
- give buy or sell calls, tips, targets or “trade alerts” on Indian securities, including Indian indices such as Nifty and Bank Nifty, unless you are registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst and we have checked your registration;
- promote, link to or help people in India use brokers, apps, prop firms or platforms on the Reserve Bank of India’s Alert List, or any other unauthorised forex platform;
- post broker referral or affiliate links of any kind, anywhere;
- run or join a pump-and-dump (hyping a coin or stock so others buy while insiders sell), coordinate buying against members, or talk up something you hold without saying so;
- scam anyone: fake giveaways, “send crypto and get double back”, fake support staff, requests for passwords or seed phrases, fake “withdrawal fees”;
- handle other people’s money: account management, “we trade for you”, PAMM or MAM accounts, copy-trading with other people’s funds, or collecting money to trade on someone’s behalf;
- promise or hint at profits (for example “guaranteed”, “sure-shot” or “fixed monthly return”), or show results that are edited, cherry-picked or not from a verified account;
- harass, threaten, bully, dox or impersonate anyone, or post hateful or sexual content;
- pirate content: re-upload or sell someone else’s course, lessons, indicators or videos;
- scrape, copy or export member lists or profiles, or use bots to collect data;
- break into, overload or probe our systems, or get around limits, India mode, bans or blocks, including by using a VPN or a false country;
- break any law that applies to you or to the people you reach.
We can remove content or limit accounts that break these rules. How strikes and appeals work is explained in the Hall Rules.
11India mode: features depend on where you live
Trading rules are different in every country. We follow the rules where you live, so a few features change with your country of residence. If you live in India, India mode is on. It means:
- No MT4/MT5 sync and no links to offshore brokers. Under Indian rules (FEMA and RBI directions), people living in India may trade forex only through RBI-authorised persons and platforms or Indian exchanges, and MetaTrader platforms appear on RBI’s Alert List.
- Crypto sync with exchanges registered with India’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND) only.
- Indian index education on Nifty and Bank Nifty, for learning only. When a lesson discusses a named Indian security or index, it uses price data at least 30 days old, as SEBI requires for educators.
- File upload of statements from Indian brokers and exchanges for your journal.
- The same Room protections, plus automatic blocking of offshore broker links and of India calls by people who are not SEBI-registered.
We ask for your country when you sign up, and we may check it with signals such as your payment method or network location. If you move, update it in Settings. Some changes need a quick check. Please don’t use a VPN or a false country to get around India mode. It breaks these Terms and may break the law where you live.
We may change what is available in a country when its rules change. If a change affects a feature you use, we tell you.
12Journal sync and read-only access
Your journal can fill itself by connecting to your trading accounts. We only ever ask for read-only access.
- MT4/MT5 (outside India only). Connect with your investor password, which can only view trades. Never give us your master (trading) password. If what you enter looks like a master password, we reject it where we can detect it.
- Crypto exchanges. Create an API key with read-only permission, with trading and withdrawal switched off. Where the exchange lets us check, we reject keys that can trade or withdraw.
- We can never place, change or close your trades, and we can never move or withdraw your money. Read-only access doesn’t allow it.
- Disconnect any time in Settings. You can also change the investor password or delete the API key at your broker or exchange. When you disconnect, we delete the stored credentials. Trades already in your journal stay unless you delete them.
- Sync depends on brokers, exchanges and a trade-sync provider. Data can be late, missing or wrong. Check anything important against your broker’s own statement.
How we protect these credentials is explained in our Privacy policy.
13AI features
- AI trade reviews, the AI coach and similar features are automatic. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
- AI output is not advice and is never a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. It looks back at your own trades to help you learn about your habits.
- Don’t rely on AI output for a trading or money decision. Check it and use your own judgement.
- Don’t put secrets (such as passwords) or other people’s personal data into AI features.
- AI-generated video or voice, for example of the Calm Doji mentor, is labelled as AI-generated.
- The AI coach is part of Pro and VIP only. Monthly AI coach questions reset each month and have no cash value.
14Content and intellectual property
- Our content (the site, app, academy, Calm Doji course, tools, design, and the CandleHall name and logo) belongs to us or the people who license it to us. You may use it for your own learning. You may not copy, sell or re-upload it, or use it to build a competing product.
- Your content (journal entries, notes, posts, uploads) stays yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, show and process it only to run CandleHall for you, for example to show your post in the Room you posted it in, or to make your share card. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for short-lived backups and copies the law requires us to keep.
- Owners’ content belongs to the owner. Members get a personal licence to use it while they are members.
- You promise you have the right to post what you post, and that it doesn’t break anyone else’s rights.
- Ideas and feedback you send us can be used to improve CandleHall without us owing you anything.
15Takedowns and working with authorities
Anyone can report content, using the Report button or by writing to the Grievance Officer. Because we host other people’s content, we follow the timelines the law sets for platforms, including India’s IT Rules where they apply to us:
| Type of request | What we do | How fast |
|---|---|---|
| Order from a court or authorised government agency | Remove or block the content | Within 3 hours, or the time the order sets |
| Complaint that content is unlawful | Review and act | Within 36 hours |
| Any other grievance | Acknowledge, then resolve | Within 48 hours, then within 7 days |
We cooperate with police, regulators and courts when the law requires it. That can include sharing account details, payment records and logs. Where the law allows, we tell the affected user first.
Copyright complaints should include your contact details, the work you own, a link to the copy, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not allowed, and a statement that your complaint is accurate. The person who posted it can send a counter-notice.
We remind everyone of our key rules at least once every three months, and whenever they change.
16Suspension and termination
- You can leave any time. Cancel your plan, then delete your account in Settings. What we keep afterwards, and why, is in our Privacy policy.
- We can limit, suspend or close an account if you break these Terms or the Hall Rules, if the law requires it, if there is a security risk, or if the account is used for fraud. For most problems we use strikes that expire. Serious harm, such as scams, pump-and-dumps, pretending to be staff or stealing seed phrases, can mean an immediate ban.
- We tell you what happened and why, unless the law or someone’s safety stops us. You can appeal once, and a different person decides within 7 days.
- If we close your account when you haven’t broken the rules, we refund the unused part of your paid month. If an owner is removed for scams or serious harm, we may hold their payouts to refund members.
- If we ever shut CandleHall down, we give at least 30 days’ notice, let you export your data and refund unused paid time.
- Parts of these Terms that should keep applying after an account closes (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability and governing law) keep applying.
17Disclaimers
- CandleHall is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it accurate, safe and running, but we can’t promise it will always be free of errors or available.
- Market data, calculators, candle replay and sync can be late or wrong. Tool results are educational estimates. Check with your broker before you trade.
- Trading results anywhere on CandleHall, including verified ones, describe the past. They don’t predict what happens next.
- We don’t endorse any owner, member, lesson example, instrument or strategy.
- Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
18Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows:
- We are not responsible for your trading decisions or trading losses, or for losses caused by brokers, exchanges, payment networks or blockchains that we don’t control.
- We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, missed opportunities, or data you could have backed up.
- Our total liability to you for all claims is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100, whichever is higher.
- Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or injury caused by negligence, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Your part. If you break these Terms or the law and that causes a claim or loss for us (for example, a scam run from your account), you agree to cover our reasonable costs. Owners give a fuller promise in the owner agreement.
19Changes to these terms
- For important changes, we tell you by email and in the app at least 30 days before they apply. If the law needs a faster change, or it is needed to stop harm, we tell you as soon as we can.
- The date at the top shows when these Terms last changed. Earlier versions are available on request.
- If you don’t agree with a change, you can cancel and close your account before it applies. If you keep using CandleHall after that, the new Terms apply.
20Governing law and disputes
The governing law and courts for these Terms are to be confirmed on registration.
Before going to court, please talk to us. Write to the Grievance Officer and give us 30 days to put it right. Most problems are solved this way.
If you are a consumer, you keep any right to bring a claim in the courts where you live and the protection of consumer laws there, including, for people in India, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
